Proposal Summary The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is Ontario's economic immigration program. Through this program, Ontario selects candidates who meet the province's labor market needs and formally nominates them to the federal government for permanent residence. Currently, the OINP provides pathways to permanent residence through eight program categories.
Recent policy changes by IRCC regarding the Post-Graduation Work Permit
New language test requirements 
Many programs no longer eligible. New rules: For students who submitted their study permit application before November 1, 2024: If you apply for PGWP on or after November 1, 2024, you must meet the new language test requirements: Bachelor's, master's, and doctoral graduates: English CLB7 or French NCLC7. Other university programs (e.g., diploma): English CLB7 or French NCLC7. College programs: English CLB5 or French NCLC5. Note: Language test results must be within the last 2 years! November 1, 2024
In some cases, completing multiple programs can qualify you for a longer Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), up to three years. [Plus one R] "Program stacking" is the term IRCC uses to describe a situation where a student completes multiple PGWP-eligible programs at a designated learning institution (DLI).
