Starting May 1, electricity rates in Thunder Bay will increase
Thunder Bay - The Ontario Energy Board has approved an increase in electricity rates for Synergy North customers. According to the decision issued by the OEB, starting May 1, the monthly electricity bill for a typical household in the Thunder Bay area using about 750 kWh will increase by approximately $4.54. The OEB reports that customers in Kenora will see an average monthly increase of $5.87.
