When you hear sirens and see flashing lights on police cars, ambulances, or fire trucks, remember to immediately pull over to the right, or give way to the emergency vehicles, as they may run red lights or go against traffic. Also, if you see a car pulled over ahead, change lanes to the left promptly, or you might get pulled over too.

Coco Bay is considered one of the higher-rated Vietnamese restaurants in TB. We ordered the regular Pho, Tom Yum Pho, and stir-fried rice noodles. The portions were huge, and three of us were stuffed. The Tom Yum was quite good, with a strong spicy kick. The stir-fried rice noodles were a bit too sweet, similar to a wet-fried kway teow in China with two extra spoonfuls of sugar. Overall, it was decent, and you can give it a try. Rating: 7/10

Rose N Crantz Roasting, a boutique coffee shop with the roastery in the back. I saw on the map that it's close to Lakehead, so I stopped by on the way and ordered a latte. When I got there, they told me the espresso uses a blend of three beans from a single origin called Mexico. As the name suggests, it's from Chiapas, Mexico. I'd never had beans from that region back home, so I didn't have high expectations. But the first sip woke me up—the fruity acidity was very prominent, mixed with smoky nutty flavors, and the body was heavy, making it instantly distinctive. It's probably the most flavorful latte I've had in TB so far.
