Around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, multiple emergency vehicles gathered inside and outside the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition (CLE) grounds. According to a witness at the scene, about 3 fire trucks, 8 police cars, and 1 ambulance arrived in succession, with personnel mainly dealing with a situation near a tree; bystanders were heard saying "someone is in the tree." According to event operation information, the organizer announced this year's CLE opening dates as August 6 to 10, with daily hours from noon to midnight; as of press time, no announcement of temporary closure or interruption has been made by the organizer.
