School bus collision (High Street North and River Street)

Thunder Bay - Friday morning, a school bus collided with an SUV on the city's north side.  

Thunder Bay police, fire crews, and emergency medical services have arrived at the scene at the intersection of High Street North and River Street.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident. At least one person was taken to the hospital.

Police have not yet indicated whether charges will be laid.

Traffic controls are in place between Aspen Street and Balsam Street, and between Gordon Avenue and Dawson Street.
