"A month ago, I saw an open letter signed by author 'Bo Guagua' discussing family, believing that Chongqing's 'cracking down on crime turned into cracking down by force' was because Wang Lijun 'abused his power and was arrogant,' while Bo Xilai 'made improper appointments and was in a dilemma.' What responsibility did Bo Xilai actually bear in the Chongqing crackdown? This question was not addressed in his and Wang Lijun's trials, leaving much controversy. This letter is a reminder that I have a responsibility to sort out this historical event, especially since the beginning of the Chongqing crackdown is deeply connected to one of my programs."

After watching this documentary, I suddenly understood why Wang Lijun ran into the U.S. Embassy.
