Five categories worth 10 to 25 each: the job, experience, language, education and intent to reside. Work down the page and the total lands at the bottom. The 26 entries in the dropdown are the grid’s own rows, covering the 25 RCIP-eligible occupations, with 42202 split into registered ECEs and ECE assistants.
①Job offer
Sector points + occupation points, capped at 25. The sector isn't what the company does — it's derived from the NOC's first digit, so picking the role fixes it.
②Work experience
Needs reference letters as proof, and the experience's TEER has to match the offer.
③Language (CLB / NCLC)
Pick the role above first — the language band follows the offer's TEER.
④Education
Foreign credentials need an ECA.
⑤Intent to settle + local ties
The statement of intent is mandatory and worth a flat 10. Ties add up to 15 more; the category caps at 25.

This is the RCIP community grid. FCIP is assessed on its own terms and GSDC publishes no convertible grid for it, so do not read these numbers as a French-route score.
GSDC publishes neither a minimum entry score nor an average across past recommendations, so this page shows a total without a pass line and makes no judgement about whether it is enough. For the competitiveness of a given intake, ask GSDC or read the notice for that window.
